Careers in the Common Good

Careers in the Common Good (CCG) is an initiative of the Curricular Resource Center, the CareerLAB,and the Swearer Center for Public Service for those interested in learning more about third sector nonprofit and social justice work.

CCG offers you:

  • skill-building workshops for jobs and internship seekers
  • opportunities to hear from alumni and other community leaders engaged in public interest work, and to have conversations over coffee (see Community Hour, below, for this semester’s schedule) about connecting your passion to your studies and to your life after Brown
  • online resources to assist you in exploring your options.

Community Hours

Each month, Careers in the Common Good hosts an informal discussion about CCG-related topics, moderated by a guest speaker and often featuring panels of alums working in third sector and associated fields. Join us for enlightening conversation.
